Fall softball and indoor volleyball are on the schedule in Fayette, reports park director Scott Wagner, and a softball tournament is also planned.

The summer co-ed softball league ended at the Bull Thistle Festival, Wagner said, but a fall co-ed league is planned for Friday nights, starting after Labor Day.

The park board is taking over management of the winter volleyball program, he said, but it will still be played at the school. Games are scheduled to begin in November.

A softball tournament for men’s, women’s and co-ed teams is planned during the Fayette Fall Fest. The event will serve as a fund-raiser for Kellen Kaiser.

Today (Wednesday) is the final day for early registration in order to compete in the flag football league.

Wagner said the Pizza Stop fund raiser brought in $1,200. A Little Caesar’s pizza fund raiser is being considered for the football league.
