Waldron library plans summer reading program 7.1.09
Waldron area children are invited to “Be Creative” starting July 9 at the library’s summer reading program.
The program continues every from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ever Thursday through Aug. 13.
Food, crafts and games are planned along with a special guest each week.
July 9: Travis Horwath will speak and sidewalk painting is planned. July 16: Mr. Stitt will teach about musical instruments.
July 23: Debbie Spencer will lead a class in cake decorating.
July 30: Karl Wiseheart will talk about bonsai gardening.
Aug. 6: Richard Draham from the Lost Nations Photo Club will take about photography.
Aug. 13: Vicky Hayes will lead a session on dance.
Children are urged to stop in at the library to sign up for the summer program.
DEVINE—Ann Arbor entertainer Kevin Devine will perform at 7 p.m. July 22 in the school’s multi-purpose room. Devine is a singer and song-writer known throughout the area for his lively concerts enjoyed by families.
