Several employment issues were approved at Morenci’s Board of Education meeting Monday.

The following coaches were approved for the 2008-09 school year: Scott Clark, middle school wrestling; Eric Johnson, volunteer high school wrestling; and Amanda Delmonico, volunteer middle school cheerleading.

Tom Saylor was approved as head varsity football coach for the 2009-10 school year.

The resignation of Sharon McDowell, full-time cook, was approved, effective Dec. 31, 2008. Ronda McCaskey was hired to replace McDowell, effective Jan. 5, 2009.
