Learn to knit at Fayette library 10.15.08
Get ready for chilly weather by learning to knit a scarf at Fayette’s Normal Memorial Library.
Cinda Metcalf will teach students to create a scarf in a two-part class starting at 6:30 p.m. Monday. The cost is $5.
At the first session, students will learn how to cast on and knit. Two weeks later, on Nov. 3, students will bring their projects back to class and learn how to bind off and tuck the yarn.
Participants will need a 9, 10 or 11 needle. Cinda will give a recommendation on the brand of yard to use so colors can be picked out and brought to class.
For more information, call the library at 237-2115.
