We all have busy schedules this time of year, but a few people took the extra time to build and display new Christmas decorations for our community.

I want to thank Dave Borer and Tom Franks for creating the new “holly” decorations; Victor Garcia for power coating the decorations; and Dan and Brad Knierim, along with Jonah Stiriz, for putting them up. If I missed anyone I am truly sorry but know that I do appreciate your help.

 I also want to thank the fire department for decorating the fire house and the Chamber of Commerce for decorating the downtown corner square.

It is a nice scene coming into town and seeing the festive lights and our town’s Christmas spirit. Thank you again and Merry Christmas.
