I am writing this letter in regards to the highlights for the month of May for 2008.

I felt that by advertising the death of two local teens as a highlight was disrespectful to the families. Both families have been through a very hard time dealing with the loss of their loved ones and for it to be advertised on the front page was wrong. Their casualties were mentioned in the obituaries and that should have been enough. It was almost like a big flashing sign was going off.

I am sure there could have been some other highlight for that month. These families just spent the Holiday season without their loved ones. I think a little compassion could have been put into consideration. Johnny and Chelsea were great people and deserve to be remembered in a more positive way.
