2008.10.15 Cletus Smith: vote Nov. 4
It is of the utmost importance for your participation in the upcoming Nov. 4 election. Whether you are voting on township, village, city, county, state or federal candidates and proposals, it is important for you to know as much as you can about those proposals and those candidates, because the vote that you cast not only effects you, your family and your community, but our nation overall.
Make sure that you are informed and have as much information in regard to all of the candidates so you can make an enlightened, informed decision of who would be the best person to represent you. You should look at their qualifications, integrity and ability to represent you, the people of the community. It should always be kept in mind that candidates work for the public, and not for their own personal agendas or goals.
We live in a country that gives us the right to voice our opinion and to elect the best person for those positions to represent the public for the best of all persons.
The only way that we can achieve this is by exercising the right that many people have sacrificed to give us—the right to vote.
Be informed of your candidate and cast your vote for the person that will best represent all citizens of the community, state and country.
