Please let your readers know that Veteran's Day was observed in our classroom. One of our classmates lost his father in Iraq in 2005. We presented him with the following letter.

Veteran's Day 2007

Dear Families of Veterans,

Thank you for helping our country. We thank you for the people in your families who died. Thank you for the soldiers who are fighting for freedom. We know how hard it can be to miss someone in your family that you really love. You can remember the people that you really love in your heart. Always be glad when you remember, even though it is hard to let go of your family. We are thankful for the people who fought for our country.
