We’ve received several telephone calls from subscribers asking about the absence of a Chief Supermarket circular with their paper.

We learned last month that a firm assisting Chief with its marketing decided that the Observer would no longer be included in its distribution. Some subscribers might remember that this happened several years ago, but complaints from shoppers resulted in a return of the insert.
