2012.04.25 Leon Shulters: Ohio Interstate system should be completed

Written by David Green.

The State of Ohio has not completed the interstate highway system as of now, according to a news report in the Toledo Blade.

The interstate highway system is completed throughout the United States. I disagree with this statement. Where is Interstate 80 and 90 through the state of Ohio? Interstate 90 in Ohio starts in Elyria, Ohio, and goes east to the Pennsylvania line. Interstate 80 starts in Youngstown, Ohio, and goes to the Pennsylvania line. The most miles traveled in Ohio on Interstate 80 and 90 are toll road miles.

An interstate highway is toll free. You pay for the interstate highway system through the fuel taxes.

My argument is this: Ohio should complete the interstate highway system before they sell any highway.
