Yes, but it’s still a bit of trip

European astronomers have discovered a planet with about the same mass as Earth that exists in the closest star system to us – only 4.4 light years away. It’s thought to be a rocky ball like Earth, but not habitable with its temperatures of 1,200 degrees. The search for Earth 2.0 continues.

Super expectorator Geoffrey Marcy says: “This is close enough you can almost spit there.”
