Don't let your feet drag
As you well know, there’s a blog for everything, such as this one created by a woman who goes nuts over seeing big kids in strollers. From an interview with the blogger:
A few parents have sent me some emails in defense of this situation. They’ll be like “You don’t understand,” and they’re right. I don’t have a kid. Maybe I don’t fully understand. I understand the purpose and necessity of a stroller when you have a child, but I can’t see the excuse when your kid is way too big to carry, and the stroller is way too small for that child anyway.
As a parent, I know there are some good reasons on occasion, but I also know just what the bloggist is saying. Sometimes it just looks odd, although it’s not so much a pet peeve of mine that I would start a new blog over it. There are some humorous examples among her collection of photos.
Living in SE Asia, I could make a blog of “children who are too old to be hand fed, being fed by their nannies.” In higher priced restaurants, I have seen children who looked to be 5 years old, playing with hand held electric games while their uniformed nanny spoon feeds them their dinner. This even included lifting the drinking glass for the child and inserting straw into their mouth.
