What’s a little weekly newspaper doing covering an art event in Grand Rapids? Isn’t that a little odd? Of course it is, but the Observer does a few odd things during the course of a year. Besides, if I am to miss an entire day of work – yes, Saturday is a day of work – then I better come home with something to show for it. Hence, an entire page of photos from the famous ArtPrize event which is truly an impressive thing to see. Maybe a reader or three will make the journey this week.
