I have so much fun with Weather Underground’s radar and storm reports. Animate the map and add the storm tracking and you’re in for great entertainment.
I’m always amazed by the tracks shown for the various storm cells. It seems as though they would all travel in the same direction, but one will shoot off to northeast and another to southeast, etc.
It looks as though Morenci is about to get missed again by the severe stuff to the south.

I’m glad your little brown bat impression didn’t leave permanent damage. At least I know you can still blog. But then again, I guess blogging isn’t really proof there isn’t massive brain damage, is it?
Anyway, thanks for the heads up on the heavy weather this evening. I took my Mother out in the Fulton Manor parking lot and we watched the layers of clouds roll in. It did seem more windy tonight than the storm last Saturday night but after the front moved on through, we settled into a light rain and about a ten degree temperature drop.
I soon abandoned the computer for the side yard. I was there in time for the arrival of the wind. When I stepped outside, it was rather still and quite. Within a few minutes, the trees were all in motion.
In Morenci we got only a tenth of an inch of rain out of all that excitement.
