An interesting tidbit: Athens’s coach is is the brother of Morenci teacher Dennis Quist. Dennis was heard to say that Athens always loses when he attends a game, so he’ll probably be taken hostage and deposited in the front row.
When was the last time the Morenci girls were in the quarterfinals? I think they were there in 1985 or 86.
