Frank Tursak started each middle school math class with that famous quote.
I hope Rosie sees this.
I thought it was “Let’s settle down people, the bell has rung”.
Maybe “people” was added in the mid/late ’70′s….
Now that you mention it, I believe “people” was sometimes added to morning routine in the early seventies. It sounds as though it became standard by the late seventies.
Frank and I both grraduated from Adrian College with the class of 1958. I should have graduated in ’53 but Harry Truman’s police action delayed things.
