Hard rain’s a-gonna soak

It was obvious that we were getting a good rain yesterday morning, but I didn’t know it was that good until I checked the gauge after work yesterday. 1.54 inches. I suppose the fall is going to make up for the dry summer. Someone keeps saying that he’s expecting a hot October to fill in the gap from the cool summer.
