Traveling daughter Maddie mentioned that she might visit Byron Bay when she flies over from New Zealand to Australia, so I decided to make a visit via Google Maps. Google’s StreetView is available, of course, so I traveled down Main Street and knew she must visit the Institute of Cute to find out what goes on inside.
I noticed the Directions box and decided to find out how to travel from Byron Bay to Morenci. It says it will take me 55 days, 18 hours. First comes a series of roads across Australia to a point on the north coast and then, one more click tells me to “kayak across the Pacific Ocean.” Fifty-five days? More like 55 weeks.
