Central Lake is NOT from the UP, although it may seem like that. It is in northwestern portion of the lower peninsula about 40 miles northeast of Traverse City. It is about the same distance southwest of Horton Bay(although not easy to get to because of all the lakes). Their best player has not only scored more points than any other boy or girl in the state (career and year) but the same is true for rebounds. This year they seem to have a better supporting case than last year. Good luck to Morenci !
