I’ve read about that many Republican governors are talking about how things are really turning around economically in their states, while their colleagues in Washington are talking about how terrible things are. I got a sample of that with recent press releases from Kasich and Portman. Kasich sends out a lot of news about how Ohio is strong.
U.S. Senator Rob Portman:
“After nearly four years of President Obama’s policies, Ohioans are still struggling as they try to make ends meet in the weakest economic recovery since the Great Depression.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich:
“It’s so encouraging that Ohioans are getting back to work. Things are heading in the right direction and that’s great to see, but we’re far from being out of the woods.”
