SCRABBLED: Several news outlets incorrectly fretted about a change in Scrabble to allow proper nouns. The London Mail explained that using footballer Yuri Zhirkov on a triple word play could net 131 points. Make that 131 points!
But Josh Levin writing in Slate explains the misconception. It’s a new game called Scrabble Trickster that makes some changes to the original. Relax, purists.
