I admit, I’m the one who made the motion at a Chamber of Commerce meeting to go with a new, local business for the creation of the annual commemorative T-shirt for the Labor Day bridge walk. With a little more than two days remaining before Labor Day, the shirts aren’t ready. And they won’t be ready, at least not from that company.
Instead, they were rushed to another business and they’ll be available Saturday morning. They might be on sale at the banks and library until they close Saturday, but Johnson’s Hardware should have them all day long. Other than that, show up early at the walk and buy a shirt there. You can change under the bridge. No one will be watching.

Shirts are available today (Sunday) at Johnson’s Hardware, Borchardt Brothers and Green Valley Campground. Otherwise, pick one up at the bridge event at 11 a.m. Monday.
