To tell you the truth, I didn't read this article; my "oh boy" comment was taken simply from the title. However, this has been my amateur take on this subject and has been for years. I definitely believe in a Creator (therefore, Intelligent and Divine Design) through evolutionary processes. I simply don't understand how believing in evolution disregards creation. (Notice, I use these terms, not in the formal sense but as a description, therefore, the lower case "e" and "c".) We were created divinely (in my opinion) but evolutionary.

Clear as mud?

I wish I had as much faith as you do. The human body is pretty complex. If I could watch a pond for millions and millions of years, I just don't see a person coming out. I agree evolution of living organisms takes place constantly but I can't take that leap that it all started on it's own from nothing.

I would like to see empirical evidence from Nye "the science guy" that the belief in creationism is holding the county back in scientific research. Surely a "science guy" would expect to have to back up that claim.
