The funny men will meet Oct. 30 in Washington, D.C. Jon Stewart will bring his Rally to Restore Sanity while Stephen Colbert will go with the March to Keep Fear Alive.
Stewart says about 15 to 20% of the population is loud enough to speak over the rest of the more moderate (and sane) population. This rally is for the majority but, as he says, it will only last until 6 p.m. because we have baby-sitters at home.
Colbert urges his fans not to delay in making a hotel reservation. If you do, your children will grow up to be gay, he warns. Yessir, keep the fear alive.
