Remember the altered books display at Stair Public Library a couple of years ago? You take a book and you make something somewhat different out of it. Someone left an incredible creation at the Scottish Poetry Library in Edinburgh with these words – “We know that a library is so much more than a building full of books… a book is so much more than pages full of words.… This is for you in support of libraries, books, words, ideas….. a gesture (poetic maybe?)” and other gifts arrived after that.
