From this week's State Line Observer:
AIRBORNE—A Concord baserunner leaves the ground as she prepares to slide into second base while Morenci shortstop Ali VanBrandt takes the throw from first to make the tag. The Morenci freshman had a pair of hits in the regional final game against Concord, but the Yellow Jackets opened with a six-run inning and won the title 7-1.
