Thank the calendar it’s Friday

  • Have you ever taken a good look at a spleen? I won’t ask if you’ve eaten spleen, but you can read about it here in the Offal of the Week. No thanks.
  • While searching for something today, I came across Morenci Street in Pearland, Texas. I already know about the one in Indianapolis.
  • Oliver Thring has a problem with pre-hard boiled eggs:

    Does anything else so epitomise the indolent sloth, the splattered-shirted, fat-arsed torpor of modern living? The manufacturer claims this abomination is designed for people who ‘don’t have the time or knack to prepare a boiled egg’.

    The reference I first spotted said this is nothing new in the States.
