There are so many Burmese pythons living in southern Florida. I expected better results from the first three days of the big hunt. The Python Challenge has hunters from 31 states registered to kill the invasive snake, but only 11 were done in during the first three days. Maybe organizers are more satisfied with the results, but it’s probably a hopeless cause anyway. Wildlife officials think it’s impossible to eradicate them from Florida. There’s an estimate of at least 10,000 of them. Keep an eye on your small dog.
