Food stamps: Of course food stamp usage in on the rise – no surprise there- but I am surpised to learn that about 6 million Americans say they have no income other than food stamps. About one in 50 Americans now lives in a household with a reported income that consists of nothing but a food-stamp card. In Wayne County, Mich., the figure is twice as high.
Wire barrier: Do you have chicken wire in your walls? I’ve never encountered it. Maybe it’s a British thing since I saw it mentioned in the Guardian as a possible problem with home wi-fi service. Take a look.
