Getting bigger

Siemen’s has erected the world’s largest wind turbine blade in Denmark (about 500 feet across) and started the field testing. It’s expected to produce enough electricity to supply 6,000 homes. The new design is said to become the standard for off-shore turbines…at least until the next big thing arrives.
