An AP story says that:
since at least 1988, climate scientists have warned that climate change would bring, in general, increased heat waves, more droughts, more sudden downpours, more widespread wildfires and worsening storms. In the United States, those extremes are happening here and now.
An article like that is sure to bring out the doubters. Here’s a sample from the comments sections:
It’s not really that hot in Atlanta or anywhere else. This is a liberal plot by the liberal media and scientists to obtain funding. Do NOT believe the weather reports, they are lying.
solar cycle 24 is expected to hit new lows not seen since “the little ice age” about 200 plus years ago so….. most scientists are expecting cooling for the next 20 years.
