Powder Coatings Plus LLC, an industry located on Park Street, is leaving the village and relocating in Archbold.

Spiess told council members the company has outgrown its existing location but no vacant industrial space is available in the village.

He spoke with the owners about building an addition to the existing structure and also about land for a new building, but the company is headed to a larger vacant building near Archbold on State Route 20A. The new location gives the company 13,700 square feet of space.

In January 2006, the company was issued a five-year $50,000 loan through the Fulton County Revolving Loan Fund. The agreement included anticipated growth of 10 employees within three years. The company currently employees four full-lime workers on one shift, according to county economic development director Lisa Arend.
