June weather review 7.04

Dry enough for ya’?

Surely you couldn’t ask the usual “Hot enough for ya?” question, not after a comfortable month like the past one.

Not so fast with that thought, says Morenci area climate observer George Isobar. We had two days in the 90s in the last week of the month and a total of eight days at 90 and above.

“Maybe the heat didn’t come with as much humidity as it often does in the summer, but it actually was warmer than a typical June,” he said.

According to the National Weather Service office near Toledo, the mean temperature for the month ended at 2.2° above average with a mean of 70.8°.
