Learn about the life of American writer and humorist Mark Twain at the Fayette Opera House June 16.

Former Morenci resident Dr. John VanValkenburg, now of Prattville, Ala., portrays Twain in a program that explores periods of the writer’s life and times along the Mississippi River.

“A Visit with Mark Twain” is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. June 16.
