Seneca Township resident Chris White was selected from among six candidates to fill a vacancy on the township board.

Candidates present at the  May 14 board meeting gave a short talk about themselves and their desire to serve on the board. A motion was made to select White and he was chosen unanimously.

Other residents offering to serve were Joseph Ott, Don Thompson, Shellie Whitaker, Bob Walton and Dave McCowan.

With White serving on the board to fill a seat given up by Joe Maxwell, he was no  longer able to continue as a planning commission member. Walton volunteered to fill that vacancy and the board approved.
