Road work in Seneca Township next year might focus on Camburn Highway.

Township supervisor Kiel Plummer and trustee Don Emmons toured township roads last month with Lenawee County Road Commission supervisor Fred Bovee to examine needs for the next fiscal year.

Bovee recommended the replacement of culverts on Camburn in preparation for future paving.

Bovee also saw a need for seal coating Rice Highway and the blacktop roads within North Morenci and Seneca. Cost estimates will be submitted to the township board.
