A new name and a new look are coming to Fayette’s Clearfield Village apartments.

The Woda Group from Columbus was successful on its second attempt to seek state funding for the purchase and rehabilitation of the apartment complex and work is expected to begin in the fall.

With Woda’s ownership, the complex’s name will be changed to Clay Meadows.

“It will almost be like a new building when we’re done,” said David Cooper of Woda. “Everything will be replaced and we’ll be adding a lot of amenities.”
