Christine Lucille Johnston, 90, of Wauseon, Ohio, died Monday, April 16, 2007, in her home.

She was born Nov. 29, 1916, in Chesterfield Township, the daughter of the late Orville and the late Bertha (Lee) Donovan. On Jan. 17, 1981, she married Lloyd Johnston, and he preceded her in death in 2002. She was a member of the East Chesterfield Christian Church.

She is survived by one step-son Dale (and Carol) Johnston of Winter Haven, Fla.; two step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lloyd, and her step-mother Enid (Gardner) Donovan.

A memorial service was April 20 at the East Chesterfield Christian Church, with Pastor Paul Sternisha, officiating. Interment followed in the Wauseon Union Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Visiting Nurses and Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties or the East Chesterfield Christian Church.
