Gaddes, Frances

Frances V. Gaddes, 83, of Fayette, Ohio, died Saturday, March 17, 2007, at Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon, Ohio.

She was born Sept. 15, 1923, in Germano, Ohio, to Charles F. and Agnes E. (Moore) Heisler. She married Gilmore G. Snair on May 1, 1944, in Mingo Junction, Ohio, and he preceded her in death March 23, 1989. She then married William R. Gaddes on Nov. 25, 1989, in Kissimmee, Fla., and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2003.

Frances graduated from Mingo Junction High School in 1941.  She   was a member of the First Christian Church in Homossa Springs, Fla., the Red Hat Society in Fayette and the Senior Citizen Center in Fayette.

Surviving Frances are two daughters, Barbara E. (and Michael) Crist of Auburndale, Fla., and Becky S. (and Douglas) Erskin of Morenci, Mich.; one son, William H. Snair of Lancaster, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Nancy Kaye (and James) Hiscock of Coldwater, Mich., and Carolyn Gerace of Flint, Mich.; one stepson, William R. (and Carole) Gaddes, Jr., of Waterford, Mich.; one brother, Charles William (and Marge) Heisler of Rialto, Calif.; 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and one sister, Betty Bell.

Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. James Hopkins officiating.  Interment will follow in Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette.          Visitation is planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday.
