Willie G. (Windy) Harvey of Carson City, Nev., formerly of Morenci, died Dec. 9, 2006.

He was born Oct. 10, 1922, the son of William and Hannah (Moden) Harvey. He married Phyllis Gilmore on Dec. 29, 1943 in Yuma, Ariz., and she preceded him in death in 1998. He served in the Navy during World War II, from 1941 until 1945.

Willie is survived by one son, Danny (and Lynn) of Carson City; a granddaughter, Christina, of Bloomington, Ind.; one sister, Erma Mackey of Morenci, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and four sisters.

Cremation has taken place.
