He was born Oct. 17, 1949, in Adrian, Mich., the son of Floyd and Betty (Fenton) Cole. On June 23, 1972, in Ridgeville, Ohio, he married Pamela Stoops and she survives.

Charles was a self employed carpenter and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, cookouts, gardening and playing the guitar and he dearly loved his family.

Besides his wife, Pam, Charles is survived by a daughter, Sarah Cole of Wauseon; two sons, Dennis Cole of Toledo and Michael (and Becky) Nichols of Wauseon; four grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Rashley of Lyons and Cheryl (and Ed) Price of Wauseon; and a brother, Roger Cole of Perrysburg, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Michael and Matthew; and five brothers, Ronnie, Danny, Terry, Jerry, and David.

The funeral service is scheduled at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16. Visitation is planned from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.  Burial will take place at a later date.
