Hazel Reece, 85, of Fayette, Ohio, died Nov. 20, 2006, at Fairlawn Haven in Archbold, Ohio.

She was born Oct. 9, 1921, in Yellow Rock, Ky. She married Woodrow Wilson Reece in 1938 and he preceded her in death in 1961. She was a member of the Fayette Bible Church.

Hazel is survived by four daughters, Carol (and Bill) Haines of Noblesville, Ind., Edith (and Mel) Spencer of Tennessee, Fairizina Rice of Indiana and Loretta Torres of Fayette; three sons, Mearman T. Reece of North Webster, Ind., Joseph (and Jill) Hawkins of Tennessee and Mark (and Elaine) Berry of Muncie, Ind., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were Nov. 25 at Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Sam Wickard officiating. Burial is planned in Pleasant View Union Cemetery in Fayette at a later date.
