Bill Wheeler, 69, of Wauseon, Ohio, died Monday, Nov. 10, 2008, at his home.

 He was born Feb. 27, 1939, in Morenci, Mich., the son of Emerson and Mary (Stewart) Wheeler. He married Diane Baughman Feb. 13, 1960, in Bryan, Ohio, and she survives.

 Bill retired from Frozen Specialties in Archbold, Ohio, in 1999, with 25 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking and served in Vietnam with the U.S. Army.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Patricia (and James) Miller of Wauseon; one son, Brian Wheeler, of Wauseon; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kevin Wheeler; one grandson, James Miller; and one brother Ray Wheeler.

 A private graveside service will be scheduled at Evergreen Cemetery in Ransom Township, Mich., at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or to the charity of donor’s choice.  Envelopes are available at the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci.
