It soon will be time to claim a light pole and decorate it for the fall season in downtown Morenci.

Businesses, residents, school classes  and organizations are invited to adopt and decorate a light pole for fall by the first week in October.

Poles can be claimed at city hall on a first come, first served basis.

Any business owners wishing to decorate the pole in front of their building should hurry and stake their claim.
