Trish, Reba and Rachel Rash of Fayette entered 12 goats in the Ohio State Fair Goat Show in Columbus last month.

Trish and Reba participated in the 4-H show. They earned Grand Champion Senior Recorded Grade Doe, Reserve Champion Senior Recorded Grade Doe, Grand Champion Junior Recorded Grade Doe and Grand Champion Junior Saanen Doe. Reba placed first in showmanship in the 13-15-year-old age group.

All three girls participated in the open class show. They received awards for Grand Champion Junior Saanen Doe, Grand Champion Junior Recorded Grade Doe, Grand Champion Senior Recorded Grade Doe and Reserve Champion Senior Recorded Grade Doe. They also earned first place in Produce of Dam Recorded Grade and Dam and Daughter Recorded Grade, as well as the Best Herd Award for Recorded Grade Goats and Best Udder in Recorded Grade.

They are the daughters of Barb Rash of Fayette and Cale Rash, Jr., of West Unity.
