The Morenci Fire Department announced a schedule for hydrant flushing that begins July 3.

Hydrants will be flushed from 7 to 10 p.m. July 3, 10, 17, 22 and 24, and on the morning of July 27. An additional session might be scheduled July 31.

Hydrant flushing often causes a temporary discoloration of the water and this might affect laundry if light colored clothing is being washed.
