He was born in Johnstown, Pa., on July 27, 1937, to Mary Hilda and James Farley.

Private services and interment in Morenci's Oak Grove Cemetery were attended by the immediate family.

 A memorial service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, at Sand Creek High School.

Memorial donations may be made to the Sand Creek Community Schools Band Boosters, to be used for a scholarship fund.
