This month’s children’s programs include a party and a pet parade at Fayette’s Normal Memorial Library.

After School Program—Children in third through sixth grade meet from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and students in kindergarten through second grade meet from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Thursdays.

A movie, crafts, playing outside and an end-of-the season party are scheduled throughout the month.

Story Time—Toddler Time, for three-year-olds, is scheduled from 6:30 to 7 p.m. on Mondays.

Story Hour, for four- and five-year-olds not yet in kindergarten, is scheduled from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.

A favorite pet day is scheduled May 12 and 13 with a pet parade planned at the track. A picnic in the park Is scheduled following the parade.

Wee Read, a program for infants through age two, meets from 5:30 to 6 p.m. on Mondays. Stories, finger plays and music are planned.

A parent is required to stay with each child during the session, and comfortable pillows to sit on are recommended.
