Betty Jean Boyer died April 7, 2008, in the presence of loved ones.

She was born April 28, 1925. in Morenci, Mich. She moved to Riverside, Cal., with her husband, James Boyer.

Jean had a successful career in the banking industry before retiring in Riverside. She moved to Arizona in 1999 where she enjoyed playing cards, spending time with her family for whom she always provided, and cheering for the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Jean is survived by three children, Rick Boyer of Peoria, Ariz., Mark Boyer of Riverside, Cal., and Susan Oldfield of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and her brother, James Davis, of San Francisco, Cal.

Jean was affectionately called “Nana” by her seven grandchildren, Amber Rhuebottom, Amy Boyer, Allie Mercadefe, Cindy Lyman, Rick Boyer, Julie Boyer, Mark Oldfield, and her four great-grandchildren, Dylan and Wyatt Boyer, Kaylee Lyman and Lexi Mercadefe.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
