The Observer gave me my first job. I was in high school, probably in 1939, and I worked afternoons after school printing handbills on the printer, which probably still stands unused in the rear of your shop. I printed hand bills one at a time, in and out, in and out. I was so proud of myself to actually be earning spending money. – Stanley Stong Honolulu, Hawaii |
